Analisa Walker, Director

Mrs. Walker grew up watching her mom direct the New Braunfels Unicorn Band for over 30 years. During Mrs. Walker's  time in New Braunfels, she also studied Horn under Dr. Mary Ellen Cavitt and Mrs. Jill Rodriguez. Mrs. Walker then went on to study Music at The University of Texas at Austin, and was  proud member of the Longhorn Band! Mrs. Walker was an active member of Tau Beta Sigma, Sigma Alpha Iota, and also elected Vice President of the Longhorn Band Student Association. She accepted her first job as Assistant Band Director at Hudson Bend MS in 2019 under the direction of Ryan O'Donoghue, and then moved to the Head Director position in 2022. Outside of band, Mrs. Walker enjoys spending time with her husband, tending to her saltwater aquarium, crocheting, and cheering on the Texas Longhorns. Hook 'em!

Karen Cermak, Asst. Director

Karen Cermak grew up in North East Texas where she went to school at New Diana High School. During her time there she was an active member of the East Texas Symphonic Band and represented her school in the ATSSB All-State Symphonic Band on bassoon for two years. She went to college at Stephen F. Austin University to study Music Education and performed with the Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra of the Pines, and The Lumberjack Marching Band. In her third year at SFASU, she joined the honorary fraternity, Pi Kappa Lambda, and graduated Summa Cum Laude after her fourth year. She spent her first four years teaching in Madisonville CISD as the Junior High Assistant Band Director. Mrs. Cermak joined the Hudson Bend Band Staff in 2023. Outside of band, Mrs. Cermak enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and their dog, Pippy, as well as sewing, reading, and playing video games.

Jordan Reddicks, Asst. Director

Jordan Reddicks is the Assistant Director of Percussion for Lake Travis ISD. He coordinates percussion at Hudson Bend Middle School and Lake Travis High School. Mr. Reddicks received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of North Texas in 2016, where he studied with Mark Ford, Paul Rennick, Christopher Deane, Ed Soph, and Jose Aponte. He has taught privately and in conjunction with multiple public schools in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Reddicks was an active member in Drum Corps International as a member of the 2009-2011 Oregon Crusaders, 2012 Boston Crusaders, and 2013-2014 Santa Clara Vanguard. At the conclusion of the 2014 season, Reddicks and the rest of the Santa Clara Vanguard percussion section were awarded the Fred Sanford High Percussion Award.
